Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

1. Agreement

By using Syntglow (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Syntglow is a browser-based music visualization tool. You can upload or select local MIDI, audio, and image files, preview visuals, and render video on your own device. Cloud render servers are not used for encoding your videos.

The Service is intended for use on a desktop or laptop computer. Marketing and account pages may load on phones and tablets so you can browse the site, but the workspace, preview, and rendering are not designed for mobile devices and may not work reliably there.

Recommended browser: a current Chromium-based browser on desktop or laptop (for example Google Chrome). A Chromium browser can be installed free of charge if needed. Other browsers are best-effort and not listed as recommended until we confirm them. Local MP4 rendering in particular may be unreliable outside Chromium.

3. Accounts, devices, and sharing

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.

Your account is personal. You may not share, rent, or resell access (including giving your login to others or listing the account for sale).

Access may be limited to up to two devices. If you sign in on a third device, an older session may be signed out and you may receive a warning. Repeated multi-device abuse after warnings may result in suspension or permanent ban of the account.

4. Your content and local media

You retain rights to the files you use. Audio and image media remain on your device unless you choose to share them elsewhere. We do not store your MIDI, audio, or image files on our servers. You must have the rights to use any MIDI, audio, images, or other materials you process with the Service.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it for unlawful content. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated.

6. Plans and limits

Syntglow may offer a Free plan and paid plans. The Free plan is for trying the Service: up to three renders per day, each at most three minutes of output, lower output resolution, a watermark, and access to standard presets. Paid plans unlock the full preset library, higher quality, no watermark, and the complete feature set. Standard is billed at $20 per month or $150 per year. Account sharing is still prohibited; device and session limits in section 3 apply on every plan. Limits and prices may change; we will post updates in these Terms or in the product.

7. Renewal and refunds

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel from the customer portal linked in the receipt email from our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy). Cancellation stops the next charge. It does not refund a charge already made. After you cancel, Standard access continues until the end of the period already paid for, unless the account is suspended or banned under these Terms.

Standard includes unlimited renders. We strongly recommend that you try the Service on the Free plan and complete a render there before you subscribe, so you can confirm that the result suits you. If you complete at least one render on Standard, the charge for that billing period is non-refundable. If you do not complete a render, fees already charged are still non-refundable.

If we suspend or ban an account for a violation of these Terms, access ends immediately and renewal is cancelled so the subscription is not charged again. Fees already charged are not refunded. Where the law requires a refund, that requirement applies.

8. Availability and changes

The Service may change, break, or pause without notice. Features and pricing may be updated. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms when we post them here.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. Rendering quality and speed depend on your browser and hardware. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that every file format, browser, or device will work. Recommended environment: desktop or laptop with a Chromium-based browser (see section 2).

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syntglow and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, media, or profits arising from use of the Service.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms: use the contact channel published on the site when available, or reach out through your account support path once provided.
